PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAMME

Prevention of bowel cancer is an important health issue for us all to address, and the prevention programme hopes you will consider participation in this initiative.

We invite you and your spouse/partner to complete a questionnaire, which allows our medical team to establish what your individual risk factor is. It is important to note that any medical information you provide is strictly confidential and will under no circumstances be released to anyone else, unless you specifically give permission, such as, for information to be sent to your family doctor, who you should feel free to consult with on any aspect of this health issue.

The answers you provide will be analysed by our medical team and you will receive appropriate advice, and where indicated an opportunity to enter our Prevention Programme.

At entry, if a Colonoscopy is recommended you will need a valid referral from a GP.
